In addition to thousands losing their homes, many of the most vulnerable Angelenos, who were domestic workers in those homes, are now unemployed or underemployed. Cal Fire estimates that there are 4,223 service workers in the Palisades fire area and 6,497 in the Eaton fire area (

Better Angels has been working closely with former residents of the fire-impacted communities to launch HireMy, a referral network for experienced housekeepers, nannies, gardeners, and other workers. If you know domestic workers that are now in need of a new or additional job, or if you are in the market for highly rated, experienced workers, please reach out and we will connect you.
Hire or recommend workers who were impacted by the CA wildfires for full, part-time or project-based work.
